Beautiful part of the world! We tend not to camp there as we can see the Roaches from our back bedroom window...but if we couldn't, it'd be high on our list.

Can you spot your house from my night photo of Leek? It's a great place for you to try out new gear, tentage, and right on your doorstep!

I noticed a huge spike sticking out of the fog in the distance. Is it a monument of some kind, or just a communication mast?

If you had a big enough zoom lens, you certainly could.

The spike you can see is probably Leek's television transmitter - that's the only really tall thing on the Roaches side of Leek.
