I started camping there in 1975, still go there as often as I can.
Don't get up in the hills so much anymore sadly, the old bones won't carry me.
But I will pitch me tent for as long as i can.

It's my fave place in the whole world, especially when it rains. It's beautiful when it rains.

I am older than it too. Love it there, we have just been to Wyming Brook Farm; although it has a Sheffield post code it is definitely in the Peak District. Never seen such a variety of birds, and water voles. Saw a baby water vole at Froggatt marsh, that was a first.
