The lighter they get the more delicate they are. A decent two man winter tent is going to weigh about 2.6 kilos and upwards. They ain't light.

All 1 man tents and not great in snow. Probably the best of the bunch is the Telemark but I would go for the two man. 1 man tents are just too small for cold climates. You want something you can sit in and get your gear into. Defrosting boot laces is not funny.
