Ratty - I've submitted a site review already A quick report only to say 'thank you' to UK Campsite and Lovat Parks for our break - which we won in the Advent Calendar prize draw. It couldn't have come at a better time after a sad and traumatic family event which will impact us for some while to come. We stayed in a static caravan (pretty much a first for me) and we had a great stay with good weather as a blessing. Breakfast on the terrace after a walk down to the beach and back was a great way to start the day. I was even visited by a curious guinea fowl - eager for some toast crumbs no doubt. Sun Haven and Mawgan's Cove are very well kept and, there's a lovely touring field too, with picnic tables and no-doubt excellent facilities. I had a few dips in the sea and we celebrated our last night at the local pub's beer and music festival. Just as well my husband took his mobile by accident... or we'd be wandering still through the (delightful) wooded path back to our home from home (torches necessary after dark). If I can remember how to post pics, I will. Oh, and we visited the Eden Project - after seeing it first 20 or so years ago. Not sure I'd bother again - although we have an 'annual pass' which masquerades as your admission ticket. Yeah, like we can drive 5.5 hours to go there and back again just like that. Mmmm. (We'd needed a little respite from the full sun having pinked a bit the day before at the marvellous Treyarnon Bay where I felt like a mermaid.
LOw tide off the end of Porthcothan bay - we'd had some 'sea fret' which prompted a stroll from our nap on the sand after a delicious pasty.
The magical 'mermaid pool' at Treyarnon Bay.
Trying out our new Helinox chairs (bought for our silver wedding last year but not used due to the aforementioned family nightmare). Glad I bought them then... price has gone skyward.

Oh, seems some can, some can't... doh. I couldn't find the instructions for posting pics as there used to be so copied what I'd done before with google photos. Technology is running away from me fast!!!
OK, i've just spotted the instructions below the icons... ooops. So, this is me at the Eden Project. Last went 20 years ago soon after opening, it's a bit tired around the edges (like me). Huge arena for rock concerts seems to have taken over...
Thanks! I had fun. My OH was asleep on a rock so I played It was at Chair Cove a low tide delight of shelter and rock pools just waiting for a mermaid to appear! So she did.
