GCMS2012- I know! To be fair it wasn't empty for long, those photo's were taken in the lull between the Monday-Friday campers going home and the Friday-Sun campers arriving. It was fully booked at the weekends and fairly busy during the week too.

Mucker- Yes I see it now. I was confused because where the fencing is on your photo is now all hedging and plants/bushes. It still looks beautiful- even in the snow!

try longnor wood in buxton.We have been twice now and living in mansfield its not far away.Lovely site and silent,great to relax.The staff are great aswel.The site is the cleanest ive seen.As you say,we could have been 100s of miles away.
