Brilliant Pingvin, and thanks for taking the time to upload the photos, they were really enjoyable especially the pretty blue beetle!

Solo camping is fabulous, you get to do exactly as much or little as you want. When you're packing to go away, it's not what does everyone else want, it's what you want to have there. You eat and drink exactly what you want that day. If you want to be left alone, you will be left alone but if you want to talk everyone is usually happy to chat.

And in the evenings there is the quiet sunset, or the talk of the wind, or the patter of the rain on the tent, with time for your own thoughts, without anyone wanting anything from you. I think it is bliss for the soul. Ahh I want to go solo camping now!

Remember to burn those naughty socks, and then think about a happy future :-)

My OH is convinced that a permanent raincloud follows my tent where ever it is pitched. Apparently, I could end all drought and famine in Africa simply by pitching my tent there!

Just to tell you that the broken heart is mended... all the practical problems that had been responsible for the breaking up are solved, everybody is happy, relationship fully alive again, just now I am sitting in his caravan!

But soon I'll have a solo camp again, so good for loading up the mental batteries.

And I'd love to come over to you all and have some wonderful camping time some day (when funds are a bit better than now...)
