This tent really is a beast, great to have so much space for the kids. Now you know that you can survive -4 degrees, you can start to prepair for your winter camping trips!

erm...no! Lol. I can manage -4 at night when it is bright and sunny through the day, fair trade off. But winter camping? That's taking it a bit too far for me, I'm too soft
Happy Belated bithday from another MV owner. Fabulous pictures and great tent - so glad you like it and have no regrets. All the negativity about the vents when they really are not worth the airtime. You didn't mention it so I'm guessing it wasnt a ropblem for you either! You mentioned something you put under your air beds - what are they?
oh the vents were no bother at all. Torrential rain and 50mph gusts and they stayed shut. During the heat of the day (and it WAS mega hot and sunny) it was lovely to go round and open them, cooled the tent down lovely
Under the beds I put space blankets, well they were technically emergency shelters from poundland that I just laid out flat. Same things you would put round a marathon runner at the end of the race I guess. I also had other layers of insulation on top of that but used that next to the tent SIG to prevent heat leaching out through the ground. You never know Fiona, being a Scottish MV owner, we may find ourselves pitched together at some point
Glad your enjoying your new tent. The pics look great, the kids looked snug as bug in a rug. -4 over night that's cold. Hope you had a wonderful birthday.
Lovely pics ..always nice to see others set ups. It's great to have the extra space especially when you've got children. They looked really cosy -all ready for bed there :)
We love the look of this tent but as there are 6 of us we think we may struggle a bit unless one of the kids has a pop up. However beasts are hard to find these days.
Great pics and glad you enjoyed your trip.
------------- If you see a family struggling to put up the tent then it must be us!
Surfspud - we had 6 away last weekend but we were local and could take 2 cars! 2 in each bedroom with one spare as a dressing room - wasnt a problem space wise, you would be fine - seriously - but yes - you would need a truck or car n trailer to get anywhere!
Thanks Fiona and Brickiemum. We currently have a 12 man tent and a box trailer so transporting it not a problem.
In our current tent we have the 6 berth pod for our kingsize airbed plus a dressing/toilet area which is screened off with the dividing curtain. Then our 3 boys have the 4 berth and our daughter the 2 berth.
Not sure our bed and the camp beds will all fit in the pods of the MV900, so we may have to rethink beds!

the triple pod in the middle would do a kingsize I reckon. The two doubles at the back will take a double airbed each though we use one for the loo/dressing area. The 4th pod which goes either in the living area or enclosed porch has straighter sides and will take a double.
