Had a fantastic weekend at a site called Riverside in Cononley up in the Yorkshire Dales. The weather couldn't have been any better. From the moment we set off the sun was shining and continued to do so until we arrived home
Drove up on my own nice and early to pitch the tent and set everything up ready for the kids who were at school until 3oclock,meant driving back to pick them up but didn't mind as summer had arrived at last yaaay!!!
Ready for the off
all set up and ready to enjoy the weekend
Was meeting some of the other members of our group and didn't have to wait long before they arrived
kids loved it
and so did patch who coped really well with the hot sun
The big kids just couldn't resist joining in the fun !
Cant wait for the next time

We've stayed at Riverside a few times, going back up in June for a friends birthday, it's in a great location and so convenient with a train station in the village just a short walk away that takes you straight into Skipton. I think the only thing that let's this site down is the facilities, it's all a bit mishmash the toilet and shower block really does need upgrading.
Is that your Monty? It looks much bigger than a Monty. Lots of pictures with blue skies which is a bonus. Beautiful part of the country too. We camped near Skipton two years ago. Would love to go back

Though i haven't camped there I love that part of the country. Been twice (Ilkley/Ben Rhydding) and both times The weather was glorious and we got to see a lot of the countryside. Plenty for the kids to do about as well. Might have to head that way for next years camping trip
DebnPete your not wrong there, the facilities are the only thing that let's it down. The location and the views are superb Upgrading the shower and toilet block would surely attract even more visitors.Last weekend was very busy so they are making money, just need to throw some back into it in my opinion.
Krazy Yes that's my big fat Monty
Haha must be the angle of the photo does look big doesn't it.It certainly is lovely part of the country.Let us know if your ever down this end would be great to meet up Saying that would love to come up your neck of the woods to meet up with the gang sometime
