All I remember is meeting the Biz down by the harbour....Throwing our gear in some wee lassies 4x4....And taking up the Biz's offer of adjourning to the pub to wait for our ferry....

Haud oan....It was coming...Cos I took foties of yon seagulls nesting on the track on the way back....And I can say for certain there wisnae a big steaming thing anywhere near me...Unless of course you count Jim...

Deid squirrel meets should be put on prescription.......all that fresh air and perfect scenery does your heart glad.

Add to that the perfect mix of camping buddies, each one with something to contribute , a story, a joke, or a wee bit nonsense.....then the meets become a real antidote for all the rubbish life throws at us .

As I think theBowies once said .......'if Carlesburg did camping '........

Count me out on that one Armchair......But you go for it girl......I'm sure you would manage it....

Me?......I have trouble walking the 2 1/2 miles to the Squirrel.....And that is on a tarmac road!!!!......

Biz....I agree with you.....But even solo trips out into the green stuff....Away from the "Usual" is good for the soul......That's why camping and fishing have played a big part in my life these past years....

But I must admit some of the places I have been to with the "Gang" have been stunning....And the company(whoever turns up) has been excellent!!!!......
