Hi sue .was bit worried if I could handle putting up the tent ,but quite easy solo 1st attempt .got abit quite but had my sea fishing to keep me going :-)
I had the same anxiety when I attempted my first solo trip with my Tigris 600xl.
I even took my smaller tent in case I could not get it up on my own.
But shouldn't of worried was a breeze to get up and I now have a long stay tent which I can call home with out crawling around for two weeks on my knees!
Only issue is I now have more space in the tent to buy lots of new toys Woo Hoo !!!!
i know the feeling about buying more stuff to fill the tent haha i now need a top box to fit on the car , i went big for same reason didnt want a holiday where your crawling about .happy camping
I'll be camping on my own on Thursday night as my friend is arriving late Friday - think I'll have an early night, a long walk on Friday then lounge around waiting for her on friday evening with some wine and nibbles
Good for you! If you can"t stand your own company you have a problem. Still camping solo at 74 yrs, and if my sight and knees hold out I would like to think I have a few more years, hope you all have a wonderful season.
