Thrilled you had a great time, of course... but...
Even before reading your last paragraph, and going on photo's alone, I cringed at how busy it looked!
Looks like Windbreak City!! (And now know why, having read your post to the end! :-(
You may have nice wide pitches, and plenty of room between you and next door... but no way are you 6m from the unit behind!!
From both photo's and words, I'd have to say this is the sort of site we try to avoid... not meaning to take anything away from your wonderful holiday, of course.
What really matters is how much YOU enjoyed it, and on that score, it seems to have been a success.
Still think that's a lovely looking tent too. Admired at NEC, and it's still the best looker, in my view.

Must admit, P&K, we're of to a "Holiday Park" next month... 199 pitches, (The biggest we've been to!) pool with water slides, on-site shop & restaurant (well, at least in peak season).
IF it hadn't have been France, and IF it hadn't have been September, I'm certain we would have given it a wide berth!
For much the same reason as you, we concentrated on the area/location, first and foremost... flat safe cycling, sea side in easy reach (20mins by car, an hour on bikes), "Green Venice" just an hours drive away, village and supermarket 5 min drive away.
From what we experienced same time last year in La Dordogne (all positive), we're prepared to risk it, and are expecting (hoping) the site to be around 40% to 70% full, at worst.
Either way, if we come back as happy as you pair seem to be, then I'll be delighted... and a little relieved, it has to be said!
(I know we can up sticks and move on, if it's dire, but that really would be a last resort!)
