Our 1st week saw some amazing weather, lots of sunshine and an empty beach
The view down towards the beach from our tent made me laugh and think about the anti windbreak brigade
Spent a few days in St Ives I can highly recommend the Hub for an amazing burger, hot dog and the best chilli nachos ( sorry no picture)
Also a good day out is Falmouth, we used the park and float, which was expensive, but a real experience as our Son had never been on a boat before, £16 for all day parking and the boat to and from Falmouth it took you close to the Maritime museum.
The Museum is brilliant, some hands on things to do, I found out I should not be left in charge of a boat ! The children got to touch Ben Ainslie's gold medal winning vessel.
Views from the outside viewing deck
My Son trying out a life raft (in case I am in charge of a boat)
We also went for a coastal walk .
Of course a walk into Hayle wouldn't be the same without a stop off at a very nice pub opposite this place
And the final few pics a view from the sea front at Beachside
Wonderful pictures thanks for putting them up. An empty beach in Cornwall, who knew
We went to the Maratime museum many years ago, and I agree it is all worth a visit.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
