We have just had a great week away in Norfolk, although the trip didnt start off well. We stopped in Lincolnshire on the way down and this was the sight that greeted us on Saturday morning:



I did fish the electric cable out of the water straight after I took the photo! Thankfully we were OK but others on the site werent.

Sunday night we had 45mph gusts of wind on the campsite which was very scary but everyone was OK. The week just got better and better, the sun shone and although it was windy it was warm enough for the kids to go in the sea.

I am having trouble posting any more photos but will put on a picture of the site if I can sort it out. Woodhill Park has to be one of our favourite sites, right on the coast between Cromer and Sheringham. Its a place that is definitely worth a visit (review done!).

We were in Norfolk for 9 days and came back via skegness staying for three days, and came home the day before all this rain came so missed it, but saw photos of the flooded sites on facebook.

OK, you even made me laugh. The poor man opposite us moved his caravan and awning with the site wardens help at 9pm because his pitch was flooding.

By next morning the pitch he was moved to was even worse than where he started.

We did hear that we had had 2cm of rain in an hour so that kind of explains it. Sad to see bedding and electrical stuff in the campsite bin though.
