Had a fantastic weekend in my favourite escape hole that is Edale......it was the weekend of the Kinder Beer Barrel Challenge where teams run over the fells from Snake Pass Inn for 4 miles carrying a 72 pint keg of beer down to the Nags Head in Edale !!!! There was also a BBQ and the entertainment in the village was a fairly young band of musicians playing drums, guitars and singing live music...this took place at the back of the Nags Head and after partaking in a few bevvies I sort of found myself surf crowding

I did also drag myself up the hills for a strenuous walk and a cup of coffee on the tops.   Cant tell if my home made mozzie net worked or not but am chuffed with my construction !!!!!

Love the title Edale Rocks!!!! It was a bit strange the usually quiet little village with The Old Nags Head pub transformed into a hustling bustling live music venue wih a large marquee at the back rocking away, way past Mr & Mrs Coopers bedtime We will have to pencil in a return visit next year when the Edale Festival comes round again

Can i just add that the mountain rescue wasn't for me after my crowd surf. I did actually manage to get down successfully

Can't beat a good walk and a pint in the Nags or the Rambler at the end of it
