...or "It was all about the beans"
...or "Blazin saddles part 2"
The DSG return from another memorable trip. This time we were back at one of our most favourite haunts - Gimme Shelter near the village of Inverkeithing. A gem in the heart of a busy industrial area. I've done a review of the site before as have some of the other gang but those that haven't so far, will I am sure, its a fantastic wee place!
This is the entrance to our pitch, called "Strawberry fields"
Getting the camp set up.
Krazy & The Biz relaxing for a few minutes!
Wee Eck posing with that purchase made on her phone the last time she was inebriated and cant remember doing it!
Camp kitchen now set up!
Armchair swaps her tent for a hammock!
...and yes, she was still in it in the morning!!
A quick stroll round the site to shake off the cobwebs!
Brilliant Jim Another fantastic weekend with camp friends.
Will post mine shortly

Another good trip by the looks of it. Not sure I'd fancy sleeping in wee Eck's new purchase though. Not much lying down room
Well done armchair for bivving out. How did you find it?
That was my first attempt and I didn't seriously think I'd manage more than about half an hour, but I fell asleep and was really comfortable. I didn't bother with a tarp as the night was dry and still. The view of the Plough overhead was amazing!

It wasn't too bad yesterday VM. It was gusty at times but it was quite surprising how sheltered we were even with those leave less trees! Shame you couldn't make a day visit. You were missed. Hopefully next time

Thats good you were sheltered. Yes its just been a run of bad luck to be honest. As you say next time.
My foot has now turned a nice shade of black but swelling is down a good bit on my foot area. They just taped my broken toe to the next toe but it was more painful so I just got a lolly stick, halved it and put one half each side and taped it. Thats what I usually do, as I said that toe breaks quite often.

Excellent pics as always, glad you all had a good time.
I hope the tarp that was filled with rain water was not damaged.

The tarp was fine DK. Fortunately the low point wasn't directly over the fire pit as the embers were still warm. We could have ended up with a hole in the tarp and a very wet fire.
Another excellent meet up....Thank you to you all for your hospitality especially Davie and wee Eck for the use of the oven and all the wee extra's that made us so comfy.....
We are indeed lucky people!!!!
