I thought you were right over the water in that first picture! Did you find it colder than the others that close to the water? Does look like a lovely spot though.
What a lovely spot, is it a National Park or something similar or just out in the sticks. I'm afraid hammocks and my crook back don't go hand in hand. After 40 years in the building trade I need a very firm base to get through the night.
I liked the photos as well, very very nice what sort of camera do you have?
I'll have to lift my game now after seeing those.
Regards from Col.

That is impressive Sarah. I know you spoke about camping in the hammock but I thought you meant during the warmer months. What a beautiful spot to spend time at.
So, what kind of camping do you fancy trying out next?

Scotland has two national parks, Col, covering only 7% of the land area. There have been recent calls to bring more of the countryside under national park protection. The little glen where I camped is not within a national park.
Some people claim that hammock sleeping relieves their back pain.
The photos were just taken on my 5MP phone camera so nothing special.

Wish I had the courage to find one of those wild spots and try a night or two in a hammock....If I had one!!!
Toyed with the hammock idea for a year or two....Knowing me I would get one....And it would lie unused for a while till I got round to using it....
Jelboy.
Well, I can think of three campsites where you could try out a hammock, Jelboy ...
