Went to the above caravan and campsite early July and ended up staying for over a fortnight! Firstly it is ideally situated for Whitby with stunning views. Spotless shower and toilet block. Great dog walking area-2 huge fields for them to run about in. Excellent value for money with the pitches being half the price of some sites in Scotland but with double the amount of facilities. We cannot recommend this site enough and whilst there we visited Scarborough, Bridlington, Pickering and small villages around Whitby like Sandsend, Robin Hoods Bay, Runswick Bay and Ruswarp. Easy access in and out of site and very friendly owners.
yes sorry Im still learning how to post etc on this and once i had posted this i realised it should have been on the campsite review-done it now though

No need to be sorry! No harm done - it will probably be a few days before your review goes online.
It was our first time and we loved it! we were only going to stopover for a couple of nights on way to Cromer but we never left for over a fortnight! Lucky with the weather as well. The surrounding area is stunning and more than makes up for the steep hills and bends in the roads-when it says sharp bend by god they mean sharp bend ha ha!
We must have been in the general area at the same time. I looked at Broadings Farm and quite liked it, but went with Hook House Farm instead. I have to say I love the area (not been before)
Yes its beautiful scenery and the people are so friendly! There are so many lovely little towns and villages to visit as well. I must have a look at Hook House Farm as well as we will be going back to Whitby and would be good to have a couple of places to choose from-many thanks!
