Had my first camping trip with the wife and kids! Total success! the kids (3&5) are normally bedded around 7pm... on night one we went for a cycle at 8pm and they absolutely loved it. They slept all night too and weren't awake before 7pm which amazed me!
Sara and I found it a bit chilly in the evening and remembered we had a fan heater and were surprised how cosy it got the living area in a short time.
We are already looking to upgrade to a 6 man air tent. Our tent was fine but the living area was too small.
Also going to buy a couple of cheap camp beds - the ones with the metal wire legs, as found the roll mats uncomfortable!
Got 2 more trips booked and can't wait for them.
The top down pic was taken with my DJI Mavic pro... any excuse for a drone outing :).
Also... is there any simpler pleasure than eating out of a mess tin?!
