Like me and my friend, some bits could do with some TLC - the rubber peg loops have perished (just as well I'd put in the elastic cord I'd forgotten I'd bought as replacements...serendipity).
Isabella Isaflex are perfect replacements for Cabanon pegging elastics. Just insert the elastic loop through the back of the D-ring and the plastic fastener sits perfectly in the 'D'.I think they're an improvement on the original.

Quite agree .And no threading bendy fibreglass poles !
Great pictures !
We've still got a tent that shape from the 1970s, it's up in our loft. I last put it up in our back garden in 2015 and it was fine. Perfectly dry inside.

If you're not planning on using it, now is a good time to sell vintage tents on eBay.
I can't see any of the pictures either. Technology fail
We had a visit to Sandringham followed by Mablethorpe last year and enjoyed it, pretty good weather too.
We lived at Coltishall in Norfolk when I was in the RAF,we used to go to seaside at weekends especially in low season.
We gave up tents in early 80s and changed to a caravan.

Hi, I've just checked out the Isabella Isaflex (thanks Lidds), they do look good and neater (plus a whole less fiddly tying) than my DIY jobbies. But, I have them now and can't justify further purchases
Ah, it was nice revisiting this post and the summer fun.
