Anyone else fed up with the rubbish CAPTCHA check at log on?

Many of the images are VERY poor or ambiguous so not always easy to ID the item you're supposed to, and does the pole on which 'traffic lights' are mounted count, are the wheels of 'bikes' just clipping into adjacent frame to be included, etc. etc.!

Seems to be little consistency in what is expected, and sometimes takes 6 attempts at different sets of images before log in can progress.

I'm all for keeping the scum abusers out, but sometimes it seems difficult for genuine users to get in too!!!!!

I seem to have far less trouble on other sites with the 'human' check that uses images of words or numbers to be entered into a text box.

It's not just the CAPTCHA on this site, I find it a PITA in general!

I don't log out, however, I do clear my browsing data from time to time, and that seems to kick me out of UKCS and another (non-camping related) message board that I frequent.

I log out and just grin and bear the captcha. Find it a great sense of achievement when I get past it. Well worth the effort.

We are lucky to have this site because everything else seems to have gone to facebook which is just a series of completely unrelated ramblings. I like the topic system on here.

I never normally log out but sometimes when I do a clear-out of my computer, cookies etc, that logs me out anyway.

We've just introduced a new system which means we can stop using the Google Recaptcha.

Please let us know if you have any issues with the new log in system
