Looking to go from Hook of Holland to Austria. When using the camp site search button it brings up the map of the country with lots of push pins and from there you can look at what's on your route. All but Germany, there is no country map so it's impossible to locate a site en route.
So why is there maps for all Europe except Germany
If you're looking on this website, then go down to the other map, below the yellow maps; it's Method 3. Youcan see the UK map, as well as Holland, Belgium, part of France and Germany. Just double-click on Germany and you can filter your choices from there.
Thanks for that. Yes, I see what you mean but what a long drawn out convoluted method that needs a road map to locate the town.
I tried your method and clicked just north of Munich to a radius of 50 miles. It came up with one site in a town that wasn't shown on the map, no icon either to denote where it was. I note the same result in your example. Two sites but where are they?
With other countries it shows the whole country which is full of icons and once expanded allows a selection to be made along a proposed route and area. I have seen the sites and route for sites in both Holland and Austria which are easily recognisable on screen.
This time by clicking on the map at a town called Venlo which is on the Dutch/German border. It comes up with 15 matches, all icons are in Holland and none in Germany. Odd
