Would a PM feature not be valuable though? I understand bandwidth and diskspace on the host, but it's not THAT much!

Being a bit of a web developer myself, i terribly miss features such as Private Messages and other facilities. Although my main line is Graphics work :)

Maybe time to Migrate the forum & posts to another message board? :D

Deano, I'm a PHP/HTML developer and I know from bitter experience that people hate change. UKCS has got a great following thus far and any change to the forum software would go down like a lead balloon.

Another good reason not to change is that it's not a common web app (possibly self built?) so it won't attract the kiddie hackers that other boards such as phpBB, etc have to suffer.

That said, a simple PM facility shouldn't take too long to build - but is it worth everyones time and effort when people can be contacted via the team directly?
