LOL, I can see this running a while yet!

Don't use a spell checker but very occasionally ask Nana to confirm if I have spelt a word wrongly, usually the ones that don't look right, even then I still lift down the old Oxford Dictionary just to reassure myself.

As far as Grammer goes, I no longer have one! [:o)] (do still miss them!)

Unfortunately trying to find a dictionary in this house is almost impossible  I have Dictionary.com in favourites

Every house should have a dictionary. What gets me is the lack of capitals used at the beginning of the sentence and for real names.

that should of course have read

"Don't mind me, I'm just bumping up my posts a bit!"

tho to be honest, i always think of forums as the one place where you can drop the rules of english and grammar and get away with it, its informal so no real need for capitals, correct grammar etc, tho i must admit, its the lack of full stops that annoys me but other than that, i think its no real problem

Hi Angef, I like to see the capitals and full stops, but can cope normally on forums when they are not used, I cannot stand text speak, even on the mobile phone!

Hopefully, your thread may well help one or two Teloz but over all I only have the one comment to make.

"There was no pigs." I've been cracking up over that one ever since.

I hope that isn't a typo and should read "crackling up"

Who siad sepilnlg is ipmtonart? I bet tahr you can all raed tihs prfetlcey wlel.

Tehy rceokn taht as lnog as you get the frist and lsat lretets of ecah wrod crocert, the txet wlil be udnsrenatabdle!

Only kidding, it's an old one that but in a way it's correct. You can understand it but it just takes a bit longer to read.

I try to do my best with spelling and grammar but I don't profess to being perfect. I prefer reading posts, text messages, etc when people have at least had a go at following some of the common rules of writing.

Good post Teloz.
