Could someone tell me (in simple terms) how you post a photograph in the message, as i would like to put a photo on the January photo comp. I can see the add image icon, but it asked me for a webb address, and all my photos are on my computer. i have not uploaded them to any site.

Ok Catherine, you need to subscribe (free btw) to an online image host which you can find simply by typing 'image host' into a search engine such as Google. They are all much of a muchness then all you do is to join and register and off you go.

They will havce a facility to enable you to upload photos from your pc to the image host and generally you will need to make your pics 'Public' to allow them to be seen by all. Then it's just a matter of right clicking on the particular pic you want to display here and pasting it into the Reply Box.

Hi Catherine - As CC and Rumple said, you have to put them somewhere first, I use Photobucket for mine. Register with them and upload some photos first then you'll be able to put them on here. It might take you a while to figure it out - it took me a lot of swearing, frustration and messing about, and advice from others, before I finally did it! - but you'll get there in the end, and it's easy when you know how.    Any problems you have just shout, someone will help

I have tried to do this but all i see when i post is the pasted reference of the photo. is this what you will see when it is posted. or does it turn into a photo ???

I presume you mean make your photo smaller? Wherever you've put your photos you should have the option to resize before you post on here. Do it to website size and you get this

Do it to message board size and you get this, which makes the reply box bigger
