Happy New Year everyone,

Sorry for this basic question but as a "new-ish" member I wanted to ask if it is possible to message someone separate to the forum..I have an equipment query that someone has touched on in a forum topic but did not want to post the full query/message. Can you message other members or is the forum the only way? Sorry as know I will get loads of answers, I will be using the forum lots anyway, but just wanted to check...

There is no direct link to members - you could post asking them to contact you but putting you mail address on the open forum is not a good idea - everyone is really helpful on here so if you need help on a subject just ask away

As Belinda says, if you posted your email address you do leave yourself open to anything.

However if you created a temporary email address and posted it on here you could always scrap it afterwards.
