One of the most popular forums is the Caravan and Camping Sites one, where many people ask for suggestions and advice regarding sites in a limited area (e.g., North Wales, Cornwall). Many of the subject headings however do not specify the region - "Good site for 18 year olds", "Looking for dog friendly site" etc - which is only made clear on reading the thread. Someone looking for info. regarding a specific region can waste a lot of time looking at these threads to discover whether they are relevant, and most won't be.
Could you not require posters to specify the region in the subject heading (as, of course, may already do)?
Even better, could you not divide the forum into region specific sub-forums, at least with broad divisions, (e.g., Scotland, Wales, England North, England South)? A "General" subdivision could accommodate any topics that are not specific to a region.
Thank you for your consideration.
George.
