Apologies if this has been raised before. Every so often there's a flurry of requests for copies of manuals etc. Often another owner can help but then there's the danger of quoting an email address in an open forum.
Thinking of a shared membership resource, I'm wondering if there would be any merit in having a section of the site for owners to upload scans of manuals for other members to download? Not sure whether straight jpegs would work or whether it should be pdf's, or indeed whether any copyright issues exist?
I appreciate there'd be a cost implication for UKCS with server space etc but if the page was only accessible to registered members, that could encourage new sign-ups?
Just a thought.
