... someone else could post something, that affects your own post, possibly causing you to wish you hadn't posted, or causing you to hastily edit.... or even delete, your post.
On a (non camping) forum I frequent, when you press "SEND", it automatically informs you of (and shows you in full) any new post(s) that have appeared whilst you were typing yours out, and gives you the opportunity to edit, delete, or of course, confirm that you still want to send it as it is, to the world wide public.
Now, I have no idea whether this is something that could be considered on UKCS, but just thought I'd mention it, in case anyone here thinks it is a good idea (as I do) and whether it is do-able.
Thanks for listening!

Fully appreciate that, David.
(The one I'm familiar with does show you, in full, what has been posted by others whilst you were composing your own, btw),
It's just that having the opportunity to edit your post before it goes public, is preferable to editing afterwards.... even just a few seconds afterwards. It can, on occasion, save repetitive and/or incorrect advice being given, or indeed (and more likely, in my case) acute embarrassment!
Hey, don't get me wrong. I've no idea how difficult it is to set something like this up, or indeed, whether there is a cost involved. I'm at my (absolute) limit just joining in a forum, never mind actually running one! LOL!
Just thought it worthy of a mention, just in case the UKCS hierarchy thought it feasible. I'm more than happy to continue as is, of course.
