Pricing structure varies from one site to another, with many different permutations, e.g. season, type of unit, per person pricing, or per pitch/family, etc. etc...
When looking for a camp site, I start with a location, then look for camp sites that suit my requirements, then look at the reviews, and if one ticks enough boxes, then I shall go and look up the site and prices etc...
Price per pitch is not the highest priority for me, as I do not mind paying a bit extra for a good clean site with good security features.
Being a member of C&CC certainly helps, as I already know roughly how much it would cost for my usual set up at their club sites, just need to account for seasonal variations.
