I am trying to search for a campsite with hardstandings, but I need a whole host of other facilities too
-dog friendly
-accepts tents
-open all year (or in Feb as thats when we want)
-allows campfires
-preferably adults only but this is not a deal breaker
I can search for all the facilities above, except for hardstandings OR I can search for ones with hardstanding but cant seem to put the other criteria in
Is there some easy way to do this?
We want to go away end of Feb and dont want to get stuck in mud so need somewhere hard to park the car but want to camp on the grass if that makes sense. But I dont want to have to transport our stuff in trollies or wheelbarrows or any of that nonsense.
Anywhere south of say the midlands or there abouts.
Im not sure how to either I just click an area and search from there but I think most sites have atleast a few hardstandings now.
wherever you go have a great time
------------- its our imperfections that makes us perfect
I usually type in the postcode of any site I want to have a look at into Google earth then zoom in and can usually spot what the site is like and if you do that you should be able to see if they have hard standings or not.
There is no option for it, which is a shame.
If they have a link to a web site, normally that info is on there, but not all have a web site.
So thats down to us, when we write a review to mention hardstanding etc.
