Don't know if this is the correct forum but,Can a member of the Caravan and motorhome club,stay on a Camping and Caravan club site,and vice versa,without having to join both clubs?

Basically no! .... well not under any kind of joint/reciprocal agreement.
Both clubs allow non-members to use some of theirs sites (excludes CL/CS sites for sure), if you pay a non-members supplement to the daily pitch fee, for CAMC that's £13/night, for CCC I believe member's pitch fees are 30% lower than non-members.
The clubs are to all intense and purposes rivals, both wishing to entice you to join them for the membership benefits THEY offer. In terms of what each offers, there's little to choose between, it usually comes down to which sites/locations you favour, many peeps belong to both to get the widest choice of sites. That said, CAMC online booking is generally considered far superior to CCC system which is clunky and restricted.
If you stay on either club's sites as a non-member for more than 5 or 6 days, it's usually worth joining to get the members preferential pitch rate, in effect, your membership becomes free based on the savings you make!
