I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who donate their knowledge to these pages. I thought I had learnt alot from magazines etc etc over the last month and pretty much tought myself what to look for in a tent etc. although I have only been registered a couple of days I have already realised I have just scratched the surface and may have made some 'not so good' purchases. Ho hum trust me to stumble in here when my rather large spending spree is almost to a close
I'll be mulling around for the next few days absorbing even more info and hope to be up and adding to that knowledge as time goes by. Well done all give yourselves a pat on the back
Hi Oxos and a very warm welcome to ukcampsite.co.uk. It sure is a hive of information for a whole expanse of subjects, not least caravans and camping. It is always refreshing to hear of newbies who have found the site helpful and also great to see so many people giving their advice freely through the forums in the hope that their knowledge will help to keep the great outdoors life alive!
I love this site too. It's a release from the day to day worries of life

Thanks for the warm welcome, The spending spree is now at a close and I can look forward to our holiday in July at an old holiday spot of mine from nearlly 20 years ago near burgh Island in south devon.
Hopefully I will have thought of everything but the trial run at the end of this month will help and iron out anything we come across. must admit I'm a bit annoyed at 5 local campsites going caravan only in the last couple of years! Is this a trend with campsites now?
