Oooh Lesley, I know what I meant to tell you.  All that googling for our Dorset favourite places the other night led me to several local websites.  The name of a local Councillor came up time and time again and I knew the name.

His office contact details were given so I sent an email explaining who I was and saying are you my friend of way back and sorry if you are someone entirely different (or words to that effect!).

Got an email back today.  It is my friend of years ago.  We reckon we haven't seen each other for 20 years!  He's given me his phone numbers and private email (ha ha! sure his official office will love getting emails from daft bats!) and I will give him a ring next week to catch up. 

Sometimes the internet sucks and other times it is just amazing.

I had my username changed not long after I joined and I don't think my posts were affected, but hey! That was a year ago and I've been asleep since then so memory not on full throttle

I'd never been on any forum before and didn't realize you could have a different, (and more interesting), name at first. Webby or ratty were kind enough to change me and that's why I am the hippy chick you see before you today

My kids and family had always called a hippy chick, (coz I had been one) so it just seemed a natural one to pick.

Curiosity now deepens, I cannot believe you were called something else, I would lay a dollar down that it even says Hippy Chick on your liddle birth cert......LOL

I do remember you as Torre Nova which I quite liked but Ivana Tinkle, (when said correctly for full effect), is much funnier
