Good initiative! Would it be possible to use photographs as well without overloading the server? Anyway, the sad blue face is now gone...

What a great idea, the things i have bought in the past and have been utterly unsuitable or just not worth the money spent on them is amazing but we all know that when we are looking for  campsite we look at the reviews for that site,  and take others views in to account so to use the same system for other things is  good idea and one which i think will become very useful for all.

Hi Ratty,

As an idea, I see that we have one sub forum which I think is good, why don't we st up a library with other sub headings to make it easier to search for things, we could have a few, damp, towing, problems - answers sought, best sites, as well as general chat, that way if people wanted answers to particular things they could look in the library - then get to it quicker? love the site!!!

I will definitely send you a review Ratty - just as soon as I find something to write about! I've just bought a new tent, but I don't think I shall get round to using it until spring, so you could have a long wait!

I'll send you a review of one of my tents which I and some of the members got through a sharp eyed member seeing an amazing bargain.

Three man tent, cost £29.99 and stood up a couple of months ago to some of the worst weather I've ever seen in the North of Scotland.

Is that a bargain or what?

HI Terry, any and all of those sound great! You can drop us a line at http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/contact/mailart.asp and we can then give you an email address to send any stuff to. You can send it to us in a word document, as text, HTML, anything you like at all. Doesnt have to be formatted in any particular way, we will do that, and you can include photos if you wish ( in fact ideal if you can ) . It can be short or long, really pretty much anything goes.

Hope that helps, and many thanks!

Ian

Sounds a great idea, however, with regard to faults with brand new caravans, it should be borne in mind that some are attributable to the manufacturers, but others are down to a poor PDI by the supplying dealer.
Are these reviews to be e-mailed to site management rather then posted in the normal way?

Ratty will this include reviews on different caravans, new and old? I have been thinking for ages it would be a good idea to review these as there are many people who often post things like ' been looking at an Ace are these any good'.

And....if so can it be made easy to use for dummies like me?

Hi Ratty,

Thanks for the offer - I'll give you an honest unbiased review of the infamous EBAY tent, when I have got it and given it a thorough going over eh!

For now I think I should just shut up about it though - All in favour - - -

Maz - lol
