Maybe good news for some, and perhaps not so good news for others (if you read between the lines)!

Seen from a few sources (CAMC being one), GoOutdoors are now 'exclusively' stocking the entire range (small, camping/caravanning/BBQ sizes, including Gaslight 5 & 10kg) of FloGas cylinders in all UK stores, I take it 'exclusively' means they have dropped the Calor cylinders they used to stock (Ha Ha - 'when' they had stock, which was not too often in my experience!)!

This is 3rd party news, can't see anything direct from GoOutdoors or FloGas, but then G.O. almost kept being a Calor stockist a secret!

Good news for those of us who gave up on Calor and went FloGas a couple of years or so back during the refill shortage fiasco to have another retail source, not so good maybe if G.O. was your local/regular source for Calor cylinders though!

Don't think Calor did themselves any favours at all, first with the inability to support customers with easily available refills, then by compounding it by dropping popular small cylinders used by tent users, micro vans/campers and a LOT of boaters, although they did reverse that decision after about a year under consumer pressure. Seen a number of outlets either duel stock or swap to FlowGas entirely over past couple of years!

FlowGas was an almost unknown brand a few years back, looks like they may be aiming for market dominance and usurping Calor!

Perhaps FlowGas was better known in the big cylinder market? The issue for Calor users is that I assume they won't exchange Calor for Flogas? This means a new contract. I had heard they were a bit cheaper than Calor which will be welcome.

Think I'll keep getting mine from Costco or B&M.

B&M didn't know they stocked gas, never seen it, or seen it advertised, could this be just certain stores

B&M stores with Garden Centres as far as I know. Our local one has a garden centre so can't say about others.

I've got my 5Kg Gaslight a while ago from B&M with a garden centre, bonus was they were about £1 or so cheaper than other stockists!

Yep, carry on getting mine from Costco where I can, if for no other reason than the very good price, and convenience of local store - not long got a 10Kg Gaslight refill for under £42! £50-£60 elsewhere! That said, last visit to Costco only last week, the storage crates were down to only a couple of cylinders, not sure if that means they had a run on new sales and not replaced yet, or running down stock to discontinue them!

GoOutdoors were always a little bit cheaper on Calor refills, remains to be seen if that carries over on FloGas!

Strange to my mind, these outlets almost hide the fact they are stockists, you usually find out by chance!
