Dear God, my Google search history is going to put profile researchers into therapy for sure!  
Got to be said, a 'number' of ladies (that may be a questionable social status in hindsight!  ) of my acquaintance are of Mrs Bonces practical solution approach. Behind a large enough tent and away from the EHU Bollard light, and at night, who's going to see (Do watch out for CCTV cameras which can see in the dark though, or you may just end up on YouTube in the 'Adult only' section!  ). May even call for a discrete wind break to be erected! 
If more coy, then when it comes to 'devices', then it's mostly variations of a Shewee it seems, but ONE alternative stands out - Google "disposable urine bags for travel"!
TBH, to avoid treks, or night-time 'wildlife' adventures, I bought a Porta-Potti for my tent camping! Maybe too extravagant for a one off trip, but a number of 'bucket, bin-bag and cat litter variations' around at more modest cost, the Kampa Khazi does appear to be one of the superior ones, or you could even improvise one, but tales of how you fell off the bucket and exactly how the 'strange' stains got on the inside of tent roof may be more embarrassing than being spotted sneaking behind the tent!!!
