AutoSock Ice and Snow Wheel Socks

AutoSock car snow socks are the high tech solution to an age old problem - how to give road tyres the grip they need on ice and snow to …get you home!

AutoSock provides an ideal "Get me Home" or "Get me to that meeting" solution - but only if you keep a set in the car! Although developed in Norway, they're particularly appropriate for the UK, where we experience sudden and sporadic snow fall, usually short lasting, but so often the cause of massive disruption and inconvenience while it lasts.

See the AutoSock Ice and Snow Wheel Socks here

Have you seen these?
Have you used these?
Would you take one when away camping?

Why not let us know what you think.

---------------

Plus: Win one of three AutoSock Car Snow Sock Sets!

We have teamed up with The Roof Box Company and are giving away three sets of AutoSock Car Snow Socks worth from £49.95 each.

Click here for full details and a chance to enter the competition

Cheers Ratty

Have Autosocks for 9 years and have never needed to use them.
Money well spent.
Saw them being used by the RAC on the rear wheels of a Transit. He was moving and I could not in Winter of 2010 in Glasgow.

I won a pair af Autosocks on this very site years ago, thanks Ratty. They can still be used on my second car since then but luckily I've never had to use them, however, it still gives you peace of mind that if needed, they would get you out of trouble.

Dave.

Do these actually work? I have never had to use them. I have never had a problem in snow or mud, but then I use aggressive mud/AT tyres. I do laugh at many other 4x4 who think that because they have 4 wheel drive they can go anywhere even though their vehicle is fitted with low profile road tyres. The number of Range Rovers, BMW X's and Audi Q's I have seen humiliated by an ancient Defender or Series Land Rover scampering past them up a snowy hill is surprisingly high. 4 wheel drive only helps if you have suitable tyres for the terrain.
