I won one of these in a competition on here a few years ago. It's a really good bit of kit and very effective in a draughty environment as it's radiant heat rather than an air heater. I use it outside and to heat our little marquee - was very handy during tier 2 restrictions.

I stopped using it when camping because our 2014 Outwell Smart Air beams had split and were held together with duct tape - I figured the heat rising off it would have been disastrous. I'm reluctant to use it in our Karsten awnings because it is quite heavy and the lantern hanging point isn't really engineered for it.

Although it claims a 5m cable, ours came with 2m and I had to extend it for the unit to be useful.

It's reliable and surprisingly packable, and puts up with more 'robust' handling than you might expect. If you've got steel or aluminium poles and plenty of headroom, it's a nice thing to have, especially if you're using an open ended extension. Hmm actually this could be just the thing for a trip with friends we've got coming up where we'll be the food 'n' social tent.
