Weve used em, they are great, but are a bu&&er to get out. I haven't read all of this thread, so don't know if anyone has said it.

Isn't that a good sign?

One thing I didn't mention is that we took 2 of the pegs to a Nation Trust beach in Studland, Dorset. The sand was excellent, hardly any stones at all. We have one of those beach shelters that many people seem to have now - you can use them for fishing too. This one has to guys and it was a windy day so I took 2 anchors to try out. They pushed into the sand by hand and I sank them quite deep and then covered them with more sand. They held really well.

Hi Shep, I am sorry and suprised to hear about your pegs. On which guys did the pegs come out?

Are we talking about the same 'Delta' pegs here?  I have just remembered that Teloz pointed out the difference between two 'Delta pegs'.

We have legal protection over our name and design

I have looked on our data base and have not found a purchase from Widnes.

Maybe it's something we've overlooked Shep, but I hope you get back to us soon.

Rob

hi rob,

i dont think theres a problem with someone taking your design as i ve moved to st helens now and i purchased your pegs while living there, the pegs that came out were the side guys along the side of the tent into the wind, as i said the ground was soft and it was a very strong wind never mind i just use different pegs now, thanks for your concern shep.

Hi shep,

Fortunately, and quite rightly, the law does think there is a problem when somebody else's design is taken, especially considering the time, money and effort put into that design.

However, I think we were talking 'same name' not 'same design'.

I'm still stunned to think all four pegs came out. The hoops on the Lokon Vario 5 look as if they would need to move about a foot for the pegs to come completely out.

Anyway, glad to hear you've solved your problem.

Rob,

i did not means theres no problem taking your design, you are right that should not be allowed what i meant was theres no problem, i don`t think anyone has copied your design, i think you misunderstood what i was trying to say, anyway lets hope theres no harm done, as an engineer i think your principle is great, i just think maybe the ground was too soft, keep up the good work, shep.

Cheers, Shep. I hope you can understand why I get a little protective.
