We bought one of the col boxes in Lidls years ago & it's still going strong. The thing is amazing. We bought another one last year in Halfords in St Austell as it was on offer, this is an amazing box too, however, the difference between them is that Lidls included the 240 convertor where as the Halfords one had to be bought in addition to the box.

This year we were at the caravan show & I was talking to a man on the WAECO stand, they offer a serious array of products ranging from reversing cameras up through cool boxes,fridges & deep freezes right up to air conditioning units.

The people there were very helpful, I was interested in the coolboxes & the aircon units, we're waiting for the truck show later this month before buying an air con unit for one of our lorries from them but nothing was too much trouble & the chap I was talking to really seemed to know his stuff. Although we've yet to buy from them, I'm happy to suggest trying them.

We bought a beer fridge to replace our electric coolbox - no good!! 

Have just been away for a few days with a small table-top fridge - excellent!!  Just like being at home.

Excellent - got a Halfords one and haven't looked book.

Also got a 240v - 12v transformer which is worth it - work best when you cool down before use which you can do in van for few hours before.

try not to open the box unnecessarily to conserve cool air.
