I finally managed to find turbi-towels in Wilkonsons last week £1 each - absolute bargain for those of us that need something to put wet hair in.

I have a microfibre towel that wraps round you and fastens with velcro. It`s brilliant for when I have to share a shower or cubicle with my daughter and need my hands free to wash her hair etc.

I know that I couold do with some more, especially as were will be camping right next to the beach for our main holiday.
I know that they are not as nice as a proper towel - but I like the way they dry quickly after use - very useful if your kids are going to be playing in the water every day.   Whcih weather permitting they will be in the summer as we've booked a site with direct beach access.

Well, as some of you may remember, I'm a bit of cloth, (microfibre towel), user and simply refuzz to take any other kind away with us in the tin tent anymore, much to my hubby's disgust! But he aint the one who has to try and get 'em dry and we haven't got 'maid's quarters' in the tin tent, so she has to stay at home

My first purchases were from Wilday and they really are quite just like bits of cloth and hubby got the right hump when presented with the prospect of two whole weeks using these and nowt else to dry his manly bod

But then.....last spring, I managed to get hold of some of the Lidls ones, (yep...folks...the dreaded stripey ones), which I'd missed the year before and......I did summat really cheeky.......peeps.....I lied!

Coz they actually look bog standard kind of towels....I didn't tell hubby that they were 'microfibre' as he cringes at the wordI just told him that they were fast drying and lightweight ones and..........he ONLY believed it!!!!

Have to say that I have since fessed up to my ommition, but he's forgiven me as he really didn't mind them so much anyhoo. Winner all round methinks

So peeps, even though our hotel in Mauritius will be supplying our 'pool towels', (apparently), I shall still bunging two of the stripey Lidl ones in AND one of the ultralightweight and space saving Gelert ones tooJust incase......oh made a pun see! in CASE

Forgive me, I'm getting a bit hyper wtih this trip approaching w-a-y toooooo fast......and son's wedding Day only 8 days away too
