We have the Cadac, i think its a great bit of kit. We use ours for almost everything so much so i cant remember the last time we used the cooker in the caravan.

We have a Cadac Carri Chef with just the griddle but have now bought a griddle plate that sits on our double burner grill and we can get as much food cooking on it as we could the Cadac. We need to lose some kit as we are running out of space in the car and a Cadac does take up a fair bit of space. We are really pleased with the griddle plate which cost £14.99 from Argos and when we need a gas ring at the same time we have one of those little single burners.

Does anyone know how welll the full sized partygrill packs up?   I'm quite tempted by one for sies where charcoal BBQ's aren't allowed. We usually use a griddle on the Coleman so I don;t really need one! But at that price, given we travel with a 907 cylinder anyway, it might be affordable?
Packed size Width 62cm x Height 52cm x Depth 14cm or so the website says. I'm now torn between the full size one and the table top one (there are only two of us but always nice to have options)!

we recently bought a table top party grill, just the two of us - for a few more months - used it over the weekend, thought it was really good for cooking breakfast.  so easy to clean afterwards too.

I think the small one would be perfect for camping but have to say that the bigger one might also double up nicely as a BBQ for the garden - we don't currently have one due to a distanct lack of somewhere to store over the winter but one of these would fold down flat so that problem would cease to be an issue.

the Cadac looks great but are they really as versatile as they sound?Do you really use all the different plates or stick with using the same ones?

I'm tempted but don't want it to be another one of those things that you spend all that money on then half of the kit remains unused.

2mn, we bought a Cadac at the end of last year and so far we've only used it at home.

I think it's very likely that when we camp we will only take the skottel pan as the whole kit takes up a lot of space and I think we can do most of what we're likely do do in the skottel.

It is an incredibly versatile piece of kit if you have space.

we have both, small party one great for carying to beach for bbq!!!
the cadac delux is fantastic, we bought one last year, and never stopped using it, even the stir fry cooked lovely, never used the caravan cooker,,our friends 'dog sat' for us one week end in the van and when we returned to get our dogs they had bought one as well ,
It packs up nicely into a bag and stores well, and easy to wash and clean after each use,and yes have used all the bits,
We found that the ignition had melted and had to ignite manually, so we wrote to cadac and they sent a whole new replace base, which was really good of them,
Shop around you can find a good deal with them on internet

use a cadac carry chef deluxe or the smaller safari chef depending on length of trip, other than a single burner (for hot water) all other stoves BBQ's have endeded up redundant. Can cook a whole meal on the carry chef

We have had a Cadac for a couple of years now and use it as much at home as for camping. Get home midweek in the summer ( when we get one  ) ready to rumble in five minutes.

We use a Beauclaire to cook on outside or in the awning if it's raiing. We also use two Air grills also in the awning, they're fantastic, thermostatic control as well as timers on them, if I could find them for sale I'd buy another & keep it in the attic as a spare. This has meant we've never used the cooker in the caravan other than the odd saucepan job.

The beauclaire we currently have is our 2nd, I'm wondering if I could cook for 6 of us on a cadac the way I can on the Beauclaire, for no reason other than I fancy trying something different. The beauclaire griddle plate & deep pan for stir frying will take some beating. Can someone tell me which Cadac to go for with 6 to cook for please.
