Why don't you buy mens wellies they probably make the leg wider. I'm sure it won't be obvious when you are wearing them.   Unless you want pink ones of course!

I got some from cotton traders on line I think they were under atenner.  I have the same problem with large calfs.

Saw some ankle boots in Homebase today, they are abit like rubber jodpur boots.

HI I don't know if you still need ankle high wellies... I am in the USA, my daughter got a pair from LL BEAN and only wore them a very short season then outgrew them. I am going to try to sell them for $20 American.. I don't know what that converts to. they are light blue with mostly white polka dots on them.  /And elastic on the sides so they can be slipped on easier. I can send you a picture if you like.. and I have no idea how much it would cost to ship them to you, but my zip code is 08534 in the USA.... Wish they fit me but I can put them on, but I wear a size 9 USA ... let me know if they have any interest for you.

Greenfingers sell half length green wellies, adult sizes   3-12 for £10.99. Postage is £4.95 but still a good buy I would have thought.

Hello

bought a pair in tkmax at the weekend - 19.99 - wellibobs they are called - wool lined and very warm - mine are pale blue - with a few pictures of chickens on them - various colours - wore them in the snow on monday - worked a treat !!!

Just wanted to add they are really lightweight and easy on and off due to a pull tab - i will be taking them camping without a doubt - google them !!! there are loads of colours - i love them - maybe the next best thing to crocs for the winter ???!!!!
