Hi

If you fit a new filter do NOT overtighten it as it is easy to crack the housing and that will cost you £45 to replace.I speak from experience having done it twice!

rejac1 what outer housing do you have and did you fit it yourself as that seems alot of money to me i replaced mine and it was only 12 25

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say thanks for all your help, unfortunately I can't post a picture as the vans in storage until Sunday! I have ordered the pump recommended by Lunajohn as I think it looks like the right one!!  Fingers crossed!!

lunarjon it's a Carver Cascade 2.

Fitted myself, twice now, both times on holiday in Corwall. Both purchased from Penrose Caravans. As we were on holiday you don't have a lot of choice. Have seen them at £32 on line without filter tho.

Is your the same, if so where did you buy it from?
