The Erde range at Halfords will do you well! Get the biggest you can afford & avoid the 102 as it really is too small to be worth having.
It will depend on the model as to whether you can up-end it!
Also, if you are not in a hurry, check halfords out every now & then as they do deals on the Erde range.
Extra cost is the tailored tarp for the top.
The higher side packs & Lid top options etc are also available, but you may have to order them in depending on how big the store is.

OK, i have the anssems GT 750 with extention sides, locking hard lid and roof bars, also bought the rear stabalisers so you can get in without it tipping over. All is aIuminum. It was in excess of £1000, but cheaper than the Brenderup (made by Thule) and could carry more weight than the 1205. I also liked it's flexability i.e. it's now very easy to have a basic trailer, or have the extention sides or have the hard box on.
The Brenderup trailers are very good, but the anssems swayed it for me due to cheaper price, more flexibility and weight capacity. Again, i stick all camping gear it it and leave on drive. It's lid is a hard lid with 2 locks fitted also have hitch lock and wheel clamp.
As regards fuel economy, this dips considerably. Think about it, you are towing up to 750kg.
