IEE regs and the BS standard call for 25m, as each pitch should have a point not more than 20m away, a 20m cable may then reach, but has to go directly, and can't be routed around obstacles. A short cable is just a way for the manufacturer to save a few pennies.
i think i would definitely phone them and ask what pitch they intend on putting you on and will it require the 25m extension. make a point of telling them you do not have one and will have to but it specially. they just might to be able to help you out with lending you one or pitching you closer.
------------- fresh air, lager and no work. who could want more?

In store only? =(
Anyone live near a GoOutdoors and fancy posting me one? =P It sucks living miles away from the good camping shops.
I don't live near any of the big stores either :( but I'm virtually going past the Oxford store on Thursday this week (on my way to a work event) and it would be a shame not to pop in ;) especially since I'm new to camping and just getting all my gear together!!!! I might need to increase my credit card limit - lol
If you're serious and you want one let me know - I'm not sure how much postage would be though because they're quite heavy
Bugger, I'm miles away from the stores as well (Gateshead), looks like I'm going to be trawling around the outward bound stores to save myself a few pounds
Ive just bought one im well pleased with the price. Although Go outdoors at sheffield need to let their staff and tills know these are on promotion as i was nearly charged 49.99 before i pointed out the promo.. (Thats a nice little earner) Its not the first time either so i always double check my recipt if im buying several things.
------------- The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.
Yeah I was there too early before it was on the system properly, they had to get mine from the back as they weren't even out on display and it was still at full price, the guy who sorted me out said he wishes they would start earlier to get things like this sorted out before they open.
Definitely the Sun Camp one as I picked one up tonight too,
The guy in the shop said it was a mistake on the emails that were sent out saying it was the trianglular one that was £30.
Although saying that I nearly got charged £50 for my sun Camp one, I only noticed when I got back to the car and thought that was dear as I bought some other bits & bobs too. I checked the receipt and it said £49.99 for the EHU, I was straight back in there, the poor girl on the till was mortified, but even the tills weren't set up at the price of £29.99, so you have all been warned...CHECK your receipt if you buy one.
