Chicken Breasts flattened. I have never heard of this being done before, yes with steak but not chicken. But it works very well. Put a clean poly bag over your mallet and thump them flat. Cook chopped onion in marg or butter. Stir in coarsly chopped spinach until wilted. take off the heat Stir in feta or ricotta cheese with basil and pepper. You can add grated cheddar or parmesan and put all this onto flattened chicken and fold in half. Wrap a bacon rasher round each peice of chicken and secure all with a toothpick. Cook on Cobb grill for 10 minuted each side. Allow two peices for ech person as they are so delicious.
Thats what I thought but by the you buy bbq, gas ring, pans and other cooking equipment it will be nearing that price. If you buy the full set it roasts, grills, steams, frys, and loads more. All in one handy little bag.
i agree with you Surfspud. I have always taken twin burners with me and if there is a blustery wind about it seems to take ages to cook. Not with the Cobb because the fire is below the rim and the saucepan sits nice and snug making the most of the heat.Next time camping i shall just take a single cartridge gas ring and leave the heavy cylinder at home.
