i use pipeline  its for cleaning beer lines but it will get it very clean just leave for 25/30 min rince out with lots of water and good as new (thats for cleaning beer lines but should be the same for all ) but to clean out the water containers  just fill to the top with cold water add pipeline leave for 25/30 min rince 3/4 times and away you go look here   or if very bad eg old pipes that have not been cleaned for a long time/ never been cleaned try the PIPELINE Bottoming-Out Kit (just dont get it on you skin the purple one starts to burn after 2/3min got some in my boot and it hurt big time so would guss the bottoming out kit would burn big time)

We drop a few milton tablets in (I really like the smell!)

THe good thing on using a 5lt from the shop is if you forget they are easy to get hold of and your first load of water is included I have been known to not take one and buy it there and recycle it before heading home

Milton for us - fill the Aquarolls, add Milton, leave for an hour (fill filler pipe with solution too).  Draw solution through whole caravan system (having removed/bypassed the water filter, if you have one) and leave for another hour (if you block up the waste outlets, it will clean the waste pipes at the same time).  Drain system, rinse Aquarolls, and rinse caravan systems with clean water.  Fit a new water-filter cartridge, if applicable.  Result - clean water system!
