I started off with a double & (rubbish) grill with a 4.5kg calor butane cylinder. We now use a suitcase burner and a CampinGaz Party Grill. Gas is more expensive this way, but from point of view of transportability and versatility this works for me.
As above but I just use 2 suitcase cookers. Not bothered about the grill, I use the fold flat toaster and it does great toast really fast.
Wilkinsons was cheapest for the cannisters at £1.25 each I found
Now thinking of getting a double burner again as I have since acquired 3 gas bottles from the tip ,a calor , a campingaz 907 and a dumpy size red one. DS brought them for me, all half full too .
I've seen a campingaz lagon double burner for a tenner, anyone know if its any good?
