Do they measure to make sure the tent is perfectly in the middle of the pitch?

Looking at those rules, I fear they might lol

Innaproprate attire? Well as it is a campsite they must mean dinner jackets lol

Who took this picture of me?!! lol!
Having read the above I think we will go for the hammer in the pegs type. Hoping to make a toddler pen. We were thinking of the outwell/vango but our toddler will fall over all the time too! Where is the best place to get the hammer in type cheap?

The cheaper the better, Argos have a great range. Go for a 10 poler, you get more to mark your territory!

We only sometimes use our windbreak.

Last year we did buy the Royal one, (to match the tent!) but this was the guy rope style, and didnt at all get on with it, so took it back. Other people seem to have got the knack o them perfectly though!

Have now gone back to our old beach style one.

Hi all
Don'T these windbreaker post make you smile I have just placed an order for this one matches the FC and will be used to go round the toilet tent for short stays when we use the Tatonka tarp instead of the awning. But when we camped in our beloved tents We use a strong canvas one with wooden poles that could be driven well into the ground and guyed and to use as a windbreaker strange idea to use it for that But today the way the sites cram us onto that little pitch with great white monsters, and all the other unsociable thing that we now have to accept,as the norm, the other uses for the famous windbreaker as become necessary on crowded sites,
As for that site with all the rules I would certainly give that a miss even if it was free
Regards
Rex.
My new keep out my space thingy here
PS Look like all the original strong canvas as now been replaced with the Synthetic material hope fully it will be as strong for campers to use them to shelter their tents from the wind.

We tend to use it as a bit of shelter for the BBQ/Cobb or if we have one of the small cookers outside - keeps kids away from the heat source as well as sheltering it from the wind.
We have used it to mark our pitch the time when one family in particular would cut right across our pitch, when going to and from the loo/shower block.    After two days we nipped out and bought three windbreaks.   Now I wasn't being anti social, but just annoyed when people are stepping over your guy ropes when the path is two yards away.
We find them handy for hanging towel/swimming costumes on as well.
The way I see it is that it is up to the individual - it is their holiday, and how they spend it, providing they are not disturbing anyone else, is up to them.
